Why am I not seeing detections?

Updated May 2026

If you have just set up adment and are not seeing any detections yet, that is usually normal. Here are the most common reasons and what to do about each one.

It is too early

adment needs time to crawl your keywords across all configured locations and search engines. For most accounts, first detections appear within 24 to 48 hours of setup. If you have just configured your monitoring group, give it a day before drawing any conclusions.

Your monitoring is not fully configured yet

Detections only appear for keywords you have actively added to a monitoring group. Go to Settings, then Monitoring Groups, and confirm your branded keywords are listed.

Check your brand assets too. If your advertisers and home domains have not been added under Brand assets, adment cannot tell your own ads apart from third party ones, which can leave your detection view looking empty or incomplete.

Your countries or search engines are too narrow

If you are only monitoring one country and affiliates are targeting a different region, adment will not detect that activity. Consider expanding your country and search engine coverage to get a fuller picture of what is happening across your program.

Your affiliate parameters are not set up

Without affiliate parameters configured, adment can still detect ads on your branded keywords but may not be able to attribute them to specific affiliates. Go to Settings, then Affiliate Parameters, and make sure your tracking parameters are added. This will not affect detection but it will affect how much information you see about each violation.

There genuinely are no violations

It is possible your affiliates are complying with program terms and not bidding on your brand. This is a good outcome. adment will continue monitoring in the background and alert you if anything changes.

If none of the above applies and you have been set up for more than 48 hours without any detections, reach out to support@adment.ai and the team will take a look.
